Vanessa Rivera
Workplace Spanish Trainer
Vanessa is a Spanish and Communications educator with 30 years of experience teaching Spanish and English to students of various ages, from young children to adults, with differing abilities. She has a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish, Communications, and Education from Michigan State University and holds a Master’s in the Art of Teaching degree from Marygrove College. Vanessa looks forward to meeting new clients at Workplace Languages and assisting them on their personal language journey.
Vanessa is a heritage speaker who grew up in a Spanish-speaking household with parents from Puerto Rico. She is proud of her rich culture and heritage and enjoys learning and teaching language and culture. Vanessa is passionate about connecting people through languages.

I enjoy getting to know my students and offering instruction that will fit their needs as well as teaching vocabulary relevant to their company and world around them. Learning languages opens doors to meaningful and unique interactions in business as well as one’s personal life. The possibilities are endless.
