Holly Packard
Workplace Spanish & ESL Trainer
Holly has over 16 years of teaching and training experience. Throughout her career, she has had the pleasure of working with clients and students from all around the world. Prior to teaching, Holly graduated from the University of Wisconsin, River Falls in 2008 with a degree in Teaching English to Speakers of other Languages as well as in Spanish education. She went on to obtain her reading licensure from St Mary’s University in 2013 followed by a Master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Concordia, Portland in 2020. Holly has worked extensively in the Minnesota Public School system both online and in-person. She is also experienced at teaching corporate English to new immigrants and refugees, as well as those who have been in the United States for years. Lastly, she has worked as a Spanish interpreter.
Holly specializes in instructing adult learners, both in English and Spanish. She has taught basic English courses for adults as well as pronunciation and writing courses. She strives to create hands-on, relevant and engaging language lessons. Holly wants to ensure her students can transfer what is learned in her class to real-world situations and feel confident in their new language skills. She is also a skilled presenter, and enjoys educating others on the language acquisition process as well as on best practices for teaching languages in schools and the workplace.
